Coaches are required to meet with the Athletic Director or Assistant Athletic Director prior to the start of the season. A coaches meeting will be scheduled for approximately 1-2 weeks before the first game. A background check and some additional paperwork will also be required to coach with WAYA.

TEAM FORMATION:

WAYA will make every effort to form teams of equal talent. In addition, requests will be considered in team formation. Please be sure to note your requests on the registration form. This in no way guarantees that WAYA will be able to fulfill your request. Preformed teams are welcome!

*Preformed teams: players must register individually. Coaches should email a complete roster to Assistant Athletic Director, Brandon Allen at ballen@waya.org. Kickball is a CO-ED league, therefore, preformed teams of 8-9 players are required to have at least 3 girls. Preformed teams of 10 players must have at least 4 girls.

**The Athletic Director may add players to preformed teams.
 
CHOOSING YOUR DIVISION:

Players should be registered for their current grade level for the 2023-2024 school year.
 

PRACTICES
*There will be NO scheduled practices for WAYA's Late Fall Kickball League.

PLAYING UP:

Participants with a higher skill level or experience may "play-up" in an older division with the permission of the WAYA Athletic Director. If an entire team is playing up, all players must register for the appropriate division. Please contact Athletic Director, Eric Bowers (ebowers@waya.org) for permission to play up.

FINANCIAL AID POLICY:

To obtain financial assistance, please complete WAYA's Financial Aid Request Form. With this request you must include proof of financial need in the form of a tax return or other proof of annual income.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
A full refund will be given to those who make a request prior to the final registration deadline (October 6th). Refunds that are requested after the final deadline must be approved by the Athletic Director and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If approved, a $10 processing fee will be retained. In the event of a full-season cancellation, refunds will be given less the $10 processing fee. If a cancellation occurs mid-season, refunds will be prorated based on how many weeks were completed.
