Freestyle Sports is owned by Jasper and Ayla Eden. Originally from Europe, the couple moved to the Austin area in early 2016 to start their own business in coaching basketball. Since starting the business in 2016, they have taught over 5000 private lessons, won multiple AAU tournaments with boys and girls teams in 5th through 11th grade, were head coaches at a private middle school for three years and the head coach for varsity girls at a charter high school. Freestyle Sports has over 75 5-star reviews across Facebook and Google.
Back in The Netherlands, Jasper taught aspiring youth basketball coaches the ins and outs of the craft of coaching and he had his own basketball entertainment business, that focused on school clinics and basketball shows (think Harlem Globetrotters).
Ayla played professional basketball for seven years, winning multiple National titles and worked for the Olympic Network as a Talent Coordinator, working with young Olympians in over fifteen different sports. She has a Bachelor of Health, studying Kinesiology, Sports and Lifestyle, with minors in Sport Nutrition and Sport Psychology.
