Unfortunately, the Boys Junior Division has been CANCELLED and is now CLOSED.
WAYA Soccer is played in the fall and spring seasons on Chalmers Field and McEachern Field, located at 1200 W. Cesar Chavez in downtown Austin.
The Developmental (PreK) and Peewee (Kinder) divisions are Coed and rosters max at 12 players per team. Minors (1st & 2nd grade) and Juniors (3rd &4th grade) are separated into boys and girls divisions and rosters max at 10 players per team. Special requests can be made to the Assistant Athletic Director, Laney Ramirez (email@example.com).
Peewee, Minor & Junior teams will have one practice and game per week. A weekly skills clinic led by professional coaches is also included with registration for all divisions, details TBD.
A full refund will be given to those who make a request prior to the final registration deadline August 19th. Refunds that are requested after the final deadline must be approved by the Athletic Director and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If approved, a $50 processing fee will be retained. In the event of a full-season cancellation, refunds will be given less the $50 processing fee. If a cancellation occurs mid-season, refunds will be prorated based on how many weeks were completed.
CHOOSING YOUR DIVISION:
Players should be registered for their current grade level for the 2022-2023 school year.
Participants with a higher skill level or experience may "play-up" in an older division with the permission of the Athletic Director, Jayla Pruitt (firstname.lastname@example.org)

Preseason Coaches Meeting: Tuesday, August 23rd @7pm
Coaches are required to meet with the Athletic Director prior to start of the season. A coaches meeting will be scheduled for approximately 2-3 weeks before the first game. A background check and some additional paperwork will also be required to coach with WAYA.

Pre-formed teams are welcome. Coach/player/school requests will be considered in team formation. Please be sure to note your requests in your registration. We do not guarantee requests but will make every effort to fulfill as many as possible.
*Pre-formed teams: players must register individually. Coaches should email a complete roster to WAYA Assistant Athletic Director, Laney Ramirez (email@example.com). If a pre-formed team is playing up, ALL players must register for the correct division. WAYA reserves the right to add players to preformed teams if needed.
