Neighborhood Sports is the premier NFL Youth Flag Football League for boys and girls ages 4-14.  Players of all skill levels, play in a quality, non-contact league, where HAVING FUN while competing is the #1 GOAL. You may register as an individual or as a preformed team.

WAYA Flag Football, presented by Neighborhood Sports, is the premier NFL Youth Flag Football recreational league for boys and girls grade PreK-8th. This league is an official program of the NFL and is sanctioned by USA football, the sport’s national governing body. 

WAYA Flag Football, presented by Neighborhood Sports, provides young players a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in non-contact, continuous action while learning lessons in teamwork. Preseason Coaches Meeting Information:

Date: August 19th from 6-7pm

Location: WAYA (1314 Exposition Blvd)

Coaches are required to meet with the WAYA Athletic Team prior to start of the season. A coaches meeting will be scheduled for approximately 2-3 weeks before the first game. A background check and some additional paperwork will also be required to coach with WAYA.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
A full refund will be given to those who make a request prior to the final registration deadline August 15th. Refunds that are requested after the final deadline must be approved by the Athletic Director and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If approved, a $50 processing fee will be retained. In the event of a full-season cancellation, refunds will be given less the $50 processing fee. If a cancellation occurs mid-season, refunds will be prorated based on how many weeks were completed. 

CHOOSING YOUR DIVISION:
Players should be registered for the grade level they are entering for the 2025-2026 school year.

PLAYING UP:
Participants with a higher skill level or experience may "play-up" in an older division with the permission of the Athletic Director, Laney Ramirez (lramirez@waya.org) and Neighborhood Sports Admin, Christian Denison (christian@neighborhoodsports.us).

CLINICS:
Complimentary weekly skills clinic included with registration. Details TBD

TEAM FORMATION:
Preformed teams are welcome. Each team should have at least 8 players and no more than 10. Coach/player/school requests will be considered in team formation. Please be sure to note your requests in your registration. We do not guarantee requests but will make every effort to fulfill as many as possible.

*Preformed teams: players must register individually. Coaches should email a complete roster to Program Director, Christian Denison, at christian@neighborhoodsports.us. If a preformed team is playing up, ALL players must register for the correct division. The program director reserves the right to add players to preformed teams if needed.

FINANCIAL AID POLICY:
