WAYA is looking for an experienced Office Manager who is willing to work hard and grow with us. The Office Manager will report directly to the Director of Operations and will be responsible for taking on a variety of tasks that will help the WAYA team remain efficient, organized and on track to serve our amazing players and families. The candidate will work at our front desk and provide a warm, welcoming, and professional ambiance at WAYA. The Office Manager will additionally perform front desk tasks such as answering phones and customer service with a smile.
Position is full-time, salaried position with benefits.
The purpose of this position is to manage multiple functions of building operations and maintenance for WAYA’s facility and athletic fields.
WAYA is currently looking for a fun, dynamic, and responsible Front Desk Associate to join our fabulous team. Our main facility is in West Austin and is conveniently located on the UT Shuttle route.
The Front Desk Associate is responsible for general customer service and will help monitor all sporting events and facility rentals, as well as insure participant and spectator safety and enjoyment. Other duties include answering phones and email inquiries, prepping gyms and fields for games and practices, closeout procedures and general facility upkeep/cleanup.
Education/Training: Excellent customer service skills; general computer knowledge- including data input and spreadsheets; professional demeanor on phone, in person and via email; must be a high school senior or above with some previous relevant work experience.
Skills Needed: A passion for working with youth; sports background preferred; great customer service and communication skills; able to communicate well with players, parents, coaches and officials; good problem-solving skills; great attention to detail; ability to multi-task.
Age Requirement: 17 and older
