Age Divisions

Season

There will be no practices. All games are on Saturdays.  Games will begin on June 19th, 2010 and end on July 31st.  All games will be held at the WAYA complex at 1314 Exposition Blvd.

Team Formation

Teams will be formed by WAYA staff and basketball commissioners. Special attention will be given to requests, school core groups and zip codes. Complete team rosters with forms and payments will be accepted.  Please be sure to list your requests on your registration form. WAYA will make every effort to fulfill your requests, but this does not guarantee all requests will be filled!

Scholarship Policy

The West Austin Youth Association offers every child the opportunity to participate regardless of skill level, talent or financial need. Scholarships are available for each sport and program that WAYA offers. To obtain a scholarship, you must complete the registration form for the sport or program, complete a scholarship request form and return them both to WAYA prior to the registration deadline. All scholarship requests made prior to the registration deadline will be honored; there will be no scholarships given to requests made after the registration deadline. Once the registration deadline has passed, WAYA will contact scholarship participants to notify them of their scholarship amount. Scholarship money is allocated at the beginning of each fiscal year and the amount awarded is based upon the number of requests made per sport.
