Practice times are selected by the coach. Practices will begin the first week of September and games will begin on September 8th. The season will be 8 weeks long plus a round robin tournament. The season concludes the week of October 25th. All games and practices will be held at the WAYA complex, located at 1314 Exposition Blvd. | | | SKILLS ASSESSMENT

| A free players' clinic will be held for all participants on Monday, September 6th (Labor Day) There will not be a players' clinic. WAYA will be open for open gym! | | | TEAM FORMATION
| WAYA will make every effort to form teams of equal talent. Therefore, a skills assesment will be held on Sunday, August 29, for the Junior and Senior Divisions. In addition, requests will be considered in team formation. Please be sure to note your request on the registration form. This in no way guarantees that WAYA will be able to fulfill your request. There will be no more than 10 players on each team.

| Scholarship Policy | The West Austin Youth Association offers every child the opportunity to participate regardless of skill level, talent or financial need. Scholarships are available for each sport and program that WAYA offers. To obtain a scholarship, you must complete the registration form for the sport or program, complete a scholarship request form and return them both to WAYA prior to the registration deadline. All scholarship requests made prior to the registration deadline will be honored; there will be no scholarships given to requests made after the registration deadline. Once the registration deadline has passed, WAYA will contact scholarship participants to notify them of their scholarship amount. Scholarship money is allocated at the beginning of each fiscal year and the amount awarded is based upon the number of requests made per sport. |
