Cost:

$200 per semester

A pro-rated price of $100 will begin mid-semester

$10 per day drop-in fee

This must be paid at the front desk of the WAYA Facility

Offered:

The After School Program is a fun, safe and supervised place for youth in 6th-8th grade to participate in a variety of activities after school. We hope that together, WAYA can fulfill the need for our middle school kids to have a safe space - all their own - where they can hang out after school and enjoy being kids. 

Location and Time

3:30 - 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday during the AISD school year

The designated areas for this program at the WAYA facility located at 1314 Exposition Blvd. will be the old east gym, Brumley field and the multi-purpose room. Participants are free to enjoy available activities in these designated areas only during the time allotted for this program.

Staff

WAYA will provide counselors to supervise participants in the After School program.

Code of Conduct

WAYA is committed to providing a safe environment for your middle school child. There is a code of conduct and contract that each participant and one parent must read and sign prior to registering for this activity. We hope that together, WAYA can fulfill the need for our middle school kids to have a safe space - all their own - where they can hang out after school and enjoy being kids.
